Cybersecurity Analyst Salary in New Hampshire

The number of job postings for cybersecurity auditors, engineers, architects, analysts, and administrators in New Hampshire’s public and private sector grew by 134% between 2010 and 2014 according to the tech staffing firm Burning Glass Technologies. As demand grows for qualified cybersecurity experts, so too do the salaries they are offered. This has resulted in cybersecurity specialists earning an average of 9% more than all other professions in the IT field.

The state is home to a number of heavy hitters in the cybersecurity industry. The New Hampshire Business Review featured many of these high-powered professionals in its article on the “Executive Series on Cybersecurity Conference” before it took place in Manchester in May 2016.

Among them was the conference’s moderator, New Hampshire-based cybersecurity consultant Candy Alexander. Alexander has worked in the security industry for more than 25 years and serves as Executive Director of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) International Board. She served as President of the ISSA Education and Research Foundation and was inducted into the ISSA Hall of Fame in 2014. She was also a featured speaker at the UN IT Security Symposium that year.
