Computer Science Academic Scholarship

Computer science education is very rewarding, but it can also be rather costly. To help reduce these costs, there are scholarships currently available through CybersecurityEducationGuides.org. Our selection committee names a scholarship recipient on a bi-annual basis. Each winner will receive a $500 scholarship award to put to the cost of computer science related education.

The team of professionals at CybersecurityEducationGuides.org places great value on computer science education. In an effort to show just how much we believe in computer science education, we now offer bi-annual scholarships to deserving students who are currently enrolled in a computer science degree or certificate program. Our Computer Science Academic Scholarship is based on merit and is open to students who are currently enrolled at a campus. Students who are currently part of an online program are also eligible to receive this scholarship. One condition remains for all applicants: the computer science related program must be deemed a qualified program. The scholarship is also open to computer science students at all different stages of the education process. Other requirements are that students must be currently enrolled and only one application per student will be allowed over the course of a 12-month period.

Scholarship Application Deadlines

Students have up until May 1st to apply for the Fall Computer Science Academic Scholarship. The deadline for the Spring scholarship is November 1st. Students may not apply each season and will only be eligible to submit one application every 12 months.

The CybersecurityEducationGuides.org website has complete discretion in the process of selecting each scholarship winner.

Announcing the Winner

Those who are chosen as the winners of the CybersecurityEducationGuides.org scholarship will be notified of that accomplishment within 30 days of the close of the application deadline. Winners will receive a notification via e-mail. The winning applicant will be asked to provide transcripts from his/her current college or university so that the scholarship committee can verify the GPA. If a winner fails to supply those necessary records, or provides a GPA that differs from what was on the application, then CybersecurityEducationGuides.org reserves the right to rescind the scholarship and award it to another qualified applicant.

The scholarship award will be paid in one installment. That installment will be a $500.00 payment made by check directly to the qualifying educational program where the winner is enrolled. The award is required to be paid out within 3 months of the day that the winner is notified.
